TypeScript

TypeScript is JavaScript with a type system, and it has become the default language for serious web applications. Types catch a large share of bugs before the code ever runs, make refactoring safe in large code bases, and act as living documentation for the next developer. We write TypeScript across the whole stack — React frontends, Node APIs, serverless functions and shared packages — with strict compiler settings, validated inputs and end-to-end type safety from the database to the interface.

  • Full-stack TypeScript applications
  • React & TanStack Start / Next.js frontends
  • Type-safe APIs with tRPC, REST or GraphQL
  • Runtime validation with Zod and typed contracts
  • Strict-mode migration from JavaScript
  • Shared type packages in monorepos
  • Automated testing with Vitest and Playwright
  • Bundle analysis and performance budgets
  • CI/CD with type checks and linting on every commit
  • Code reviews and mentoring for in-house teams

Common questions

Can you move our JavaScript project to TypeScript?

Yes. We migrate step by step so the application keeps working throughout: types are introduced file by file and the compiler settings are tightened in stages until strict mode is on. That avoids a risky rewrite in one go.

Is TypeScript worth it for a small project?

Usually yes, because small projects grow. The cost is a little extra work up front; the benefit is safe refactoring and far fewer surprises in production once more than one person works in the code.

Do you work in our existing repository?

Yes. We work in your GitHub, GitLab or Azure DevOps, follow your conventions and deliver in pull requests so your team keeps control of what changes.

How do we get type safety from database to interface?

With shared types between frontend and backend, type-safe APIs (tRPC, REST or GraphQL) and Zod validation of everything coming in at runtime – so the types hold for outside data too.

How do you test TypeScript projects?

With Vitest and Playwright, and with type checking and linting in CI on every commit, so errors are caught before they reach production.
